Ms. Jessica Rorie, Playground Support
At the age of 17, Jessica Rorie attended the School of Missions in Tijuana, Mexico at “The Mission.” During her time in Mexico, Jessica was both a full-time student and full- time house mom for 16 girls in an orphanage home. Following the call of missions in her life, Jessica joined a team starting a new base for the mission in Romania. Over the last 5 ½ years, Jessica was a leader at the Missions Romanian Base, where she coordinated and managed children’s programs, which involved working with over 170 children and family members. Among the programs Jessica helped to create and maintain, was an after school program that provided tutoring for children from surrounding villages. In addition, she worked with a Christian English school to provide children with transportation, showers, food, and education. During her mission journey, Jessica learned to fluently speak both Spanish and Romanian, discovered a love for coffee, and completely fell in love with God’s heart for humanity. Jessica plans to continue pursuing her dreams with God and is enrolled in college to complete her Associates Degree in Science.
