HSLDA
KA requires all parents join the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA), which is the nation’s largest, most trusted homeschool advocacy organization. The HSLDA is dedicated to advancing and protecting your freedom to homeschool.
CHEA of California
KA encourages families to join Christian Home Educators Association (CHEA) of California, which has been California’s primary advocate for private homeschoolers since 1982.
Record-Keeping Tools
To fully enjoy all the freedoms afforded by homeschooling, KA recommends families file a Private School Affidavit (PSA) rather than join a public charter school homeschool program.
To support PSA families, KA provides a variety of record-keeping tools, including Course of Study forms and Semester Evaluation forms. These resources can be found on ParentSquare, the communication platform for current KA families.
